TThe lunch was a banquet fit for royalty!!!
We thank Chef Hemant and his team from the bottom of our hearts for the superb food that they served and for the team's prompt and excellent service at the manned appetizer counters. The lunch was a banquet fit for royalty - each and every item had been prepared with great care and was delicious. Our request to you had been to create a feast of typical Bengali dishes, and you delivered way more than our highest expectations. And the breakfast was warm and tasty.

Hemant Mathur is a great chef!!!

We engaged Hemant and his team to cater a very special event. He was tasked with catering for four occasions which were part of this event. And he did a masterful job of them all. We are very happy that we engaged him. A very friendly person with a great smile, Mr. Mathur is a wonderful person to work with. A Michelin starred chef who is modest! A winning combination. A few comments we received from people who attended these events: "Wow! I have never eaten such great Indian food anywhere in any event in the US." and "I never knew that Chhole Bhature could be so tasty." and "Lal Maans! This is the best goat dish ever."

Everyone loved the food!!!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Chef Hemant Mathur and his team when he catered for our daughter's wedding earlier this month. Everyone loved the food and several friends and family members told us it was the best wedding food they've ever tasted! Chef was wonderful throughout the planning process, always just a phone call away and being very responsive to email questions and requests via his super-efficient and helpful right-hand, Reba.
MANEESHA & ABI WEDDING
My husband and I got married at the Fairmont Mayakoba in Mexico over 3 days. We brought Chef Hemant & Surbhi with us to cater 2 out of the 3 nights (115 guests each night). They make a great team. Surbhi was our day to day contact and is extremely responsive / organized / creative. She also happens to be a fantastic pastry chef. We met them in New York beforehand to set the menu, but other than some basic direction, we let them pick the menu for both nights (Sangeet + Wedding Cocktail Hour/Reception). The menu itself was quite creative. For the Sangeet night, the event was set up with different stations of Indian street food – from Hakka noodles to mini Uttapams to spiked golgappas, the variety they were able to deliver (in the middle of Mexico) was so impressive! Our guests were truly bowled over. For the reception, we decided to skip the traditional wedding cake and opted for a table of desserts (all prepared by Surbhi, combination of Indian & non-Indian). They even prepared a Jain lunch one day for 10-15 older family members. When it came to food, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The presentation, the execution and the flavors – all incredible!
HM catering - the best cuisine one can ask for at a wedding.
Chef Hemant is phenomenal to work with. HMC created a dream wedding food and experience for us. We are an interracial couple with cuisine backgrounds from Europe & Asia and they designed a menu to cover both cuisines. Our wedding guests raved during the wedding about the food and well after the wedding. We are so fortunate to have worked with HM catering and cannot recommend these Michelin start chefs enough to anyone looking to have memorable food at their wedding.
