SAAR, meaning the “essence of something,” is a modern Indian bistro in Midtown Manhattan helmed by Michelin-starred chefs Hemant Mathur and Surbhi Sahni. The 64-seat restaurant and bar showcases Indian regional comfort food in a cozy setting inspired by chef Mathur’s home city of Jaipur. Service includes lunch, high tea, dinner and weekend brunch.
